What tutoring adds

Support designed for understanding and independence

Keep the family's curriculum in charge

Sessions follow the explanations, vocabulary, sequence, and expectations in the materials selected by the family whenever practical.

Add focused one-on-one explanation

A difficult lesson can be slowed down, represented another way, and practiced with immediate feedback while staying connected to the family's plan.

Clarify the tutoring role

Method Math offers supplemental tutoring. It is not a school or curriculum provider and does not act as a credentialed teacher or teacher of record.

A focused session

How one-on-one support works

  1. Share the student's grade-level course, curriculum name, current lesson, and desired support in the consultation form.
  2. Confirm that the topic falls within Method Math's teaching scope and agree on the materials to use.
  3. Use the family's lesson as the anchor for explanation, guided practice, and independent work.
  4. The family remains responsible for curriculum selection, instruction records, grading, and any homeschool compliance obligations.
